This historic hotel in downtown Fort Scott is a gem! The place is clean and well-maintained, with charming touches that reflect its age. The spacious room we stayed in offered a comfortable king bed and a few nice amenities. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. However, keep in mind that there are no elevators and all rooms are located on the second floor, which might be inconvenient for some. Overall, it’s a lovely spot with friendly owners that makes for a great stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this historic hotel that exudes charm and character. The atmosphere was inviting, and the cleanliness of the rooms stood out to me. While I enjoyed my spacious accommodations, I found the shower took quite a while to get hot, which was a minor inconvenience. The spa services were a fantastic addition, and I absolutely loved the breakfast offerings. All this comes at a great value, but some features are showing their age.
